Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios

I was invited to attend a RIP tour for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I am not a scary movie, or haunted house girl so I was super nervous but excited to see what the event was all about.

Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights Entry

Halloween Horror Nights run September 6th-November 2nd at Universal Studios. The event starts at 7 p.m. and runs till 1 a.m. You can purchase your tickets ahead of time at a discounted rate of $67.99, or purchase them at the gate for $109.99. If you are interested in the RIP tour that I was invited to, you can participate in it for $199.99 plus event admission. The RIP tour includes:

1. Blood-red carpet treatment with the ultimate Halloween Horror Nights experience, which includes a guided V.I.P. walking tour of the event

2. Front-of-the-line entry to haunted houses

3. V.I.P. entrance to Universal Studios Florida

4. Complimentary standard valet parking and more

(Separate event admission is required; pricing varies by date, and is subject to availability.)

This event is recommended for ages 13 and older and no masks or costumes are allowed.

** If you can swing it the RIP tour is the way to go. It allows you to see so much more than you could see with just a general entry ticket. Plus who doesn't like to walk right to the front of the line.

Stranger Things House

This year there are 10 houses, 5 scare zones, and two shows you can see. The houses are unlike any other haunted house you have been in. They recreate scenes from some popular movies and the others have an original story line to go along with the house. My personal favorite was the Stranger things house. It had 14 rooms and if you are a fan of Stranger things it was a MUST see!

The theme of the Halloween Horror Nights this year is a tribute to the 80's.

The houses you can enter this year are:

*Stranger Things

*Ghostbusters

*Yeti -Terror of the Yukon (original)

*Killer Clowns from Outer Space

*Graveyard Games (original)

* Nightingales -Blood Pit (original)

*Depths of Fear (original)

* Rob Zombie - House of a Thousand Corpses

*Monsters ( original)

* Jordan Peels - US

**You cab go to https://orlando.halloweenhorrornights.com/site/hhn/details/event-attractions, and get a full description of each haunted house.

The Scare zones are:

*Zombieland

*Anarch-cade

*Vanity Ball

*Vikings Undead

*Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe

Shows During Halloween Horror Nights:

*Halloween Marathon of Mayhem

*Academy of Villains

I enjoyed getting to see the Marathon of Mayhem show during my RIP tour. It was located on the lagoon and was really fun to watch. It is done with water similar to the Bellagio in Vegas.

Overall this was a really fun experience. It is all about getting a little scare, but not terrifying!

The quality of the houses was amazing. They use props and a cinematic style that you would find in the movies. This is not your garden variety, neighborhood haunted house experience. Anticipating someone jumping out to scare me was so much fun, but seeing my friends get scared and scream when the same thing jumps out at them was even better. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Orlando area while the event is going on!

I can help you book your Universal Vacation package and we can get you tickets to this event as well .

Enjoy my screams from one of the houses!
